Studio ceramic bowl by Rogier Vandeweghe (1923-2020) for his ceramic workshop Amphora in Sint Andries Bruges in Belgium. Hand-thrown with applied and embossed decorations. Inside with superimposed red and selenium glaze.

At the Amphora workshop, vessels decorated with crater-like applications were known as mossel (mussel) vessels due to the reminiscence of their applications to the remnants of parasites on natural mussel shells.
